St. Catherine of Siena Academy has been named the 2024-25 James Leary School of the Year by the Catholic High School League (CHSL). This prestigious award recognizes a member school that exemplifies outstanding spirit, sportsmanship, and cooperation throughout the academic year.
Established in 1980 in honor of the late coach and athletic director James Leary from the University of Detroit High School, the award celebrates schools that uphold the values and mission of the CHSL. St. Catherine of Siena Academy's dedication to fostering a nurturing environment where young women are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and athletically has earned them this distinguished recognition.
