2024-25 Girls Basketball Central Division Honor Team
The Catholic High School League (CHSL) has officially announced the 2024-25 Girls Basketball Honor Team for the Central Division, recognizing top athletes for their achievements on the court and in the classroom. Selected by the Women’s Coaches Association, these honors celebrate standout players who have excelled in competition and demonstrated leadership throughout the season.
The full list of honorees includes selections for All-Catholic, All-League, and All-Academic teams and the Coach of the Year awards.
Top Honors for Central Division Standouts
Among the All-Catholic Team selections, senior Aizlyn Albanese (Mercy), sophomore Allie Crighton (St. Mary’s Prep), and senior Emily Walker (Mercy) are just a few of the athletes recognized for their exceptional performances.
The All-League Team features rising stars such as sophomore Brooklyn Armstead (Notre Dame Academy) and junior Brooke Shockey (St. Mary’s Prep). At the same time, the All-Academic Team highlights student-athletes balancing excellence in both sports and academics, including Lexi Hansen (Divine Child, Sr.) and Ruby Jansen (Marian, Sr.).
Coach of the Year
Two coaches have been honored for their leadership this season:
Tim Cain (Fr. Gabriel Richard) – Central Division (East)
Gary Morris (Mercy) – Central Division (West)
