Hal Schram Award
The late Hal Schram covered high school sports for some 40 years for the Detroit Free Press. His interest in the Catholic League and his coverage of all athletic events has not yet been surpassed by any other newspaper writer. The award is presented annually to the outstanding scholar-athlete in girls' cross-country.
