Regular Season

Tie in Standings

Championship

  1. Two (2) balls allowed in the bowling area with one ball allowed on the ball return at a time. All other bowling balls and bags are to be in the paddock area. USBC rules will govern this event. This is not a sanctioned USBC event.
  1. The CHSL tournament will use the “Phantom 2” oil pattern.

Warm-up

There will be fifteen (15) minutes for the event. You will receive seven and one half (7 1/2) minutes on each lane. Once the tournament round has been announced, bowlers will have 5 minutes of warm-up. Bowlers will have 2.5 minutes on each lane.

Tournament

  1. The team qualifying format will consist of three (3) regular games to determine seeding. In the event of a tie the highest series bowled will determine the tie breaker. The championship round will be seeded 1 v. 4 and 2 v. 3 in both the Bishop and Cardinal Championships.
  2. Top four (4) qualifying teams in both Bishop (Central Division) and Cardinal (AA Division) boys and girls will advance to the semi-finals.
  3. Both semi-final round and championship rounds will be a best 2 out of 3 Baker competition. You may bring a maximum of seven (7) members for the team event.

Baker Format

  1. The Baker Format uses the lead-off bowler to bowl frames 1 and 6, the second bowler to bowl frames 2 and 7, and so on. One substitution will be allowed each Baker game. The position of each bowler in the line-up may be changed for each game.
  2. Teams will bowl the best two out of three game Baker sets until a champion is determined.
  3. Tournament Officials reserve the right to settle all disputes the day of the tournament. Their decisions will be final.
  4. If bowling unopposed, the 1st bowler cannot start the next frame until the 5th bowler is finished.
  5. Bowlers shall observe traditional bowling courtesy for bowlers on adjacent lanes.

NO ENCROCHMENT! Taunting, profanity and intimidating conduct are not allowed. Players cannot approach to congratulate or celebrate the accomplishment of a fellow team member during bowling.

All other Rules and Regulations regulated by the M.H.S.A.A., USBC and National Federation Rule Books set forth are in effect.
